Apple launches its long-awaited mixed reality headset. Headset is considered a new human-machine interface by the American group.
While some applications seem very promising, the uses remain to be built. "Today marks the beginning of a new era for computing," says Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, at launch of the headset in Cupertino on Monday. The product is also the group's first step into immersive technologies. It is the first launch of a a new category since the Apple Watch nine years ago.
