Non-vulnerable domestic electricity customers have the right to request a return to the enhanced protection service until 30 June 2024. The request must be forwarded to the operator of the greater protection service in the municipality where the supply is located.
In all cases, the transition to the gradual protection service will continue to apply. "As with all switching requests, continuity of supply will always be guaranteed without any intervention on the meter," assures the Authority. The Authority reminds you that it has set up a specific page on the website www.arera.it for those who don't know the name of the service operator. The operators of greater protection must forward them to the Integrated Information System for deswitching requests according to the ordinary timing. The transition will continue until the end of the year, says Arera, when the service will be switched to a 'gradual protection service' for all customers. The switch will take place on a trial basis until the service is fully operational.
