Arms trafficking network between Turkey and France dismantled, three individuals indicted. Three suspects, arrested after the interception of a convoy near Montluçon (Allier), were indicted for firearms smuggling.
Two of these people were arrested on the A71 motorway by the GIGN on January 22 during a convoy heading back to Paris. One on board an “opener” vehicle, the second driver of the “carrier’s vehicle, carrying several handguns. The third person was arrested in the Paris region.
