Investigators from Lower Saxony have been searching for members of the RAF terrorists for decades. Investigators arrested Daniela Klette on Monday evening in an apartment building in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Klette is suspected of being involved in a gun attack on the US embassy in 1991. It is also suspected that she was at the crime scene during an anti-terror operation in 1993 in Bad Kleinen, Mecklenburg. Former RAF man Birgit Hogefeld was arrested in the action.
