King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia celebrated ABBA's victory at the ESC together 50 years ago. ABBA was honored with a tribute show at the Cirkus Arena in Stockholm.
The Swedish royal couple has a very special relationship with ABBA. Crown Princess Victoria (46), Prince Carl Philip (44) and Princess Madeleine (41) also apparently enjoy listening to the music of the 1974 ESC winners. “It’s not just our generation, it's also our children, a second generation that also loves ABBA,” reveals QueenSilvia, according to the Swedish radio station Sveriges Radio..
