The meeting of the Academies is called 'Science7' or 'S7' and its objective is to develop joint documents on major topics of global interest. This year, the French Académie des Sciences, the British Royal Society and British Academy, the German Leopoldina, the National Academy of Sciences of the United States, the Royal Society of Canada and the Science Council will discuss the five topics on the S7 table of Japan.

On 11 April the processed documents will be delivered to the Quirinale in the hands of the Head of State.
