A source close to the secret services is said to have warned the Dossier Center about the terrorist threat from ethnic Tajiks. Police officers only arrived at the scene of the attack an hour after the first shots were fired. At least four of the suspected attackers were able to escape and reach Bryansk, around 400 kilometers away.
