The extreme violence in the video led the police to open an investigation and the Israel Police noted that they opened "an investigation following a report received about a violent incident that took place in one of the schools in Be'er Sheva involving a number of minors" The Southern District of the Ministry of Education stated that a student was beaten due to a previous conflict between him and children who were not from his class.
