A selection of a thousand articles -including several iconic- of Freddie Mercury, the singer and leader of Queen, will be auctioned in London on September 6. Items range from handwritten manuscripts of several of the classics of the English band, through a minicomb that the composer used to comb his mustaches.

Items are part of the singer's personal collection of his London home in Garden Lodge, in the exclusive neighborhood of Kensington. The items presented this Thursday in New York will have a base price of one half a million dollars.
