The landslide in the Eastern Dolomites group was recorded after midday. Five tourists, although overwhelmed by the snow, escaped unscathed, while one suffered injuries, apparently minor, and was taken to the Belluno hospital under code 2. The other avalanche that fell yesterday in an off-piste area of the Riffelberg ski resort, near Zermatt, at the foot of the Swiss side of the Matterhorn, killed three people.
