A 25-year-old man was shot dead in the night from Monday to Tuesday near a drug sales point in a district south of Avignon. The victim was walking in the street when he was targeted, around 11:30 p.m., by one or more shooters in a car.
A car possibly matching that of the perpetrator(s) of the shots was found burned in a nearby town. This new homicide, which would therefore be linked to drug trafficking, comes on the second day of the trial for the murder of Éric Masson.
