Bad news for Bavaria: Unemployment is rising more significantly than in other federal states. Unemployment will rise by four percent in 2024.
New employment is created primarily in areas where there are not enough skilled workers in this country, says Markus Schmitz, head of the Bavarian regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency. The regional management wants to focus on further training this year so that companies can retain employees. 345 million euros are planned for this year in Bavaria to advance the digitalization of employment agencies and job centers.
