[HIGHLIGHTS] Barely deployed in the metropolis of Nice, the “Pony” electric bikes withdrawn due to a battery problem

French start-up's 1,000 self-service bicycles have been temporarily removed while the various batteries are checked. The company explains that it will “individually test” each of the batteries equipping the Nice fleet.

Other “Pony” bikes, deployed in other French cities, are not affected. These bikes had been installed from Cagnes-sur-Mer to Beaulieu-Sur-Mer, going up to Carros and passing through Nice, in place of the old “Blue Bikes”
