Roannais Tourisme and Roannais Agglomération, leaders of the project, have just inaugurated it at the beginning of spring. The route is intended to be authentic, we do not go through major roads.

The Roanne vineyard is a small territory, rich in discovery. It brings together 39 winegrowers spread across 26 estates. On the Forezien side, the vineyard which is nestled on the first volcanic hillsides of the Massif Central brings together 9 wine Growers and a cooperative cellar spread over 150 ha. Between Côte Roannaise and Côtes-du-Forez, passing tourists can stop off at 90 providers with the Vignobles & discoveries label. The wines produced are mainly in conversion or organic farming appellation (70%),” recalls Yannis Dumoulin, project manager at Roanna is Tourisme. “They are not the same territories, the wines have a different character, but the grape variety (gamay) is common.”
