More is born in Florence, in the premises of the Santa Maria Novella station, a new laboratory to analyze mobility in a sustainable and safe way. The project, called 'Mobility holistic research' and lasting three years, brings together the University of Florence, the Italian State Railways and the European University Institute.

The laboratory aims to collect significant quantities of data from 'traditional' sources - interviews or sensors for monitoring traffic - and non-conventional ones, such as information provided by cell phones and smartphone apps.
