Biden is putting pressure on the House of Representatives to decide “immediately” on aid to Ukraine. The billion-dollar aid package for Ukraine and Israel is before the House.
The result of the vote is completely open. The aid package includes around 60 billion dollars (almost 56 billion euros) in US dollars for Ukraine, and billions for Taiwan and other Indo-Pacific partners. In order for the bill to make it through the House, it would have to be approved by a majority of MPs.
