Big 3.2 billion investment by Silicon Box in Italy - Urso, will produce chiplet circuits for microprocessors. Singapore-based company specializes in chiplet integration, advanced packaging and testing technologies and will have 1,600 jobs when fully operational.
It will contribute to demand for semiconductor assembly - mainly in Europe - for new technologies such as next-generation applications in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and electric vehicle components. The announcement was made by Adolfo Urso of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy.
