Billions for 900 socially burdened schools in North Rhine-Westphalia. 60 percent of the funds are earmarked for the primary level.
The remainder is used to support secondary schools and training preparation in vocational colleges. Nationwide, the approximately 4,000 schools and vocational schools being supported are expected to reach around a million students in the next decade. The federal government wants to give up to one billion euros annually. Overall, the volume adds up to around 20 billion euros within ten years.
