AMW GmbH is a bio-pharmaceutical specialist based in Warngau, Germany. The company specializes in the development and production of active ingredient implants.
State Parliament President Ilse Aigner visited the growing company yesterday. AMW is represented in 45 markets around the world, through sales through its own sales force or partners in other countries, as well as through licensing deals in which AMW supplies to pharmaceutical companies. New production areas are to be created at a neighboring property in the Birkerfeld industrial estate near Lochham. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025 and detailed planning is currently being prepared for the new facilities.. The Hoki++ commercial bus service is an important solution for all companies in the area, says the CSU's Aigners. The service is available on a limited number of routes and is free for the public to use. It is not available on public transport in the region, however, as many young people don't have a car, and don't want one.
