Two teachers invite staff and students to gather on the campus square on Tuesday to demand the reopening of the premises. “We have the impression of being faced with blackmail, which is beyond us, from a minority of feminist and anti-fascist students,” denounces Mathilde Bertrand.

The blockers have been demonstrating, since last Tuesday, in reaction to the management of cases of sexist and sexual violence by the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne. The director of this department of studies who acts on his behalf, and his colleague Stéphanie Ravez warn of a "a fed up" and "disgusted" atmosphere on campus. The two professors are convinced that the camp of those who want life at the University to resume its course “will be much more numerous than the blockers,’ they write in a letter to the newspaper Le Figaro, which published the letter on Monday. They call on them to meet, Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. on campus, to demand   “the immediate reopening”
