An analogue radio signal receiver for firefighters is to be replaced by digital devices. A pager, 80 percent of which is funded by the Free State, still costs the municipality 120 euros.
In the end, the decision was made to order 125 units first. The compromise of ordering 125 devices (100 plus 25 in reserve) at a total price of 15,000 euros received the most votes. Further new pagers are to be ordered, if necessary, and by the end of 2024 at the latest.
