Study examined the expression of the orgasm in the brain using an MRI device, and bringing them to orgasm while being scanned. The findings showed that the male and female brains react completely opposite to each other.

Neuroscientist Greta Holstega decided to measure brain activity during orgasm using MRI. Orgasm for women is, it turns out, to "let go" - to stop feeling and thinking and not letting stress get in the way. Psychologically, it is unlikely that everyone experiences the same sensations because orgasms are as individual as the people experiencing them.
