Bomb explodes in the night in front of the Town Hall in the Nuoro area. Serious damage to the facade and some offices in Ottana.
The police and firefighters are ascertaining whether there is structural damage. The Prefect of Nuoro Giancarlo Dionisi is on his way to the scene. The Carabinieri bomb squad have also arrived in the city. The fire department is investigating the cause of the explosion. It is not yet known if there will be any long-term damage.
