Several hundred taxis block the Bordeaux ring road, in Gironde, on Monday. Taxi drivers demand a renegotiation of the conditions of remuneration for the transport of patients.

The National Health Insurance Fund (Cnam) has put on the table an agreement which they consider unfavorable to the occupation. At issue: the fear that these new conditions will force them to carpool patients and significant additional discounts in the case of medical transport. “We will not give up, we will go all the way to get back on good foundations with the Cnam,” declared Éric Roulière-Laumonier.
