Giant work of art will be installed in the heart of a tree-lined and planted square, on the right bank of the Garonne. The installation will also be a tribute to local and international scientific history.
The name of this work is also the same as that of the scientific project carried out collectively between 1887 and 1970 by around twenty global observatories. The celestial vault thus immortalized in the ground will correspond to a precise view of the sky photographed on June 22, 1922 at 10:15 p.m.
