Gironde winegrowers gathered around the table on Monday with traders and distributors to establish a fair price scale. Bordeaux wines have recently been sold in supermarkets for 1.89 euros, or even 1.66 euros per bottle.
The industry is meeting this Monday to define the fair price for its work after the blockages of several trading or distribution sites in Gironde in recent weeks. At the start of 2023, a third of the approximately 5,000 Bordeux wine Growers declared themselves in difficulty.
