[HIGHLIGHTS] Bouches-du-Rhône: a police officer commits suicide at home with his service weapon

A police officer committed suicide at his home in Fos-sur-Mer in Bouches-du-Rhône. The 46-year-old father was assigned to the anti-crime brigade (BAC) in Salon-de-Provence.

He used his service weapon to kill himself. An investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of his act. He had worked in the past at Bac Nord and within the Marseille intervention company, a police officer who worked with him told Le Figaro.
