Aahsene Amara, 84, has lived in a Boulogne hotel room for the last 20 years. He was threatened with eviction after a judgment in the administrative court.
Amara has been living in a ten-square-meter room since 2001. The room is covered in yellowed sheets, has no shower and is filled with mold. The heating is not working and there is a strong smell of humidity and cold tobacco. The hotel is located on the corner of rue Barthelemy-Danjou and rue du Dôme.
