Brazil signs partnership to reforest the Amazon. Agreement signed between the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (Bndes) and the Glasgow financial alliance fornet zero (Gfanz) The idea of the platform is to bring together major Brazilian projects that aim to generate sustainable jobs, expand investments in low-carbon technologies and develop sustainable economies that protect Brazil's nature and biodiversity.
The document was signed by the president of BNDES, Aloizio Mercadante, and by the UN special envoy for climate solutions, Mark Carney.
