Singapore-flagged container ship sailing on the Patapsco River crashed into a pillar of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. When the collision with the bridge occurred, the freighter “Dali” was just 30 minutes en route to Sri Lanka, where it was supposed to arrive at the end of April. The bridge was completed in 1977 and has a length of 2.7 kilometers.
