The town of Jackson (Mississippi) is almost abandoned and no longer benefits from sufficient tax revenue to renovate its water network. Residents live without drinking water and have to subsist with a brown liquid flowing from their taps. The investigation begins in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city with nearly 1,500 bridges. One of them collapsed in January 2022, injuring ten people. Another failing of America is its railways, all privatized, whose tracks are not maintained for the sake of savings.
