Invisible Cities will see the Collettivo Istantanea on the stage of the Teatro Comunale of Ferrara on 19 April. Eleven sculptures created by Lucia Peruch aka LuLupan, artist resident in Santarcangelo di Romagna.

The sculptures represent the eleven invisible cities described in Italo Calvino's book. During the exhibition, the sculptures will be animated through a live processing system, which transforms their physical forms into sound experiences. The work Invisible Cities was created on the occasion of the celebrations for the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Italo Calvino (2023). In a work that captures different artistic forms at a glance, the original music, composed and performed by the members of I Constantanea, intertwines with visionary choreographies and scenography, giving life to a multiplicity of places, visible and invisible, marked by the dialectic between the world of reality and that of the ideal. The company will show the scenography to the public for the first time from 5pm to 7pm.
