On the eve of the Nigeria-Ivory Coast final, goalkeeper Ronwen Williams stopped Meschack Elia's shot on goal and gave South Africa its second 3rd place at the CAN after 2000. The final took place in the National Stadium in Porto Alegre, Ivory Coast.
