Car burns in parking lot on A 96 ablaze: occupants save themselves. Police suspect a technical defect.
There wasn't much left of the car with a combustion engine. Two firefighting teams were able to quickly extinguish the flames using breathing apparatus, but the vehicle could no longer be saved. The police were unable to reveal the total amount of damage to the vehicle and the asphalt surface of the parking lot. The fire brigade was assisted by comrades from Gilching, Weßlingen and Geisenbrunn.
