The "Alpine Tour of the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Register" started in Vienna and ended in Trieste. The original Alpenfahrt lasted "only" eight days and required strong resistance from the drivers and cars.
For 2023, the trip has been extended, up to three weeks, transforming a sort of competition into a pleasant journey, also to avoid putting a strain on engines and bodies over a hundred years old. The initiative was carried out with stables, specialized agencies, historical clubs and was also designed as a tourist opportunity.
