Carlos Urzúa Macías, former Secretary of the Treasury of López Obrador, dies. The 68-year-old academic was found dead in his home in Mexico City on Monday afternoon.

He was also a regular contributor to the newspaper El Universal, in which this Monday morning he had published his column titled The Presidential Disdain for Water. The first information from local authorities assures that the economist, academic and current member of the opposition candidate's cabinet, Xóchitl Gálvez, was found in his house.
