[HIGHLIGHTS] CDU is clearly ahead in local elections in the north

In the local elections in Schleswig-Holstein, there are signs of a clear victory for the CDU. The party of Prime Minister Daniel Günther was after 2521 of 2673 areas at 33.9 percent.

As of about 20:15 p.m., the Greens came to 17.6 percent, the FDP landed at 6.8 percent and the SSW at 4.5 percent. The AfD - which failed to pass the five percent hurdle in the state elections - was at 8.2 percent.
