A 37-year-old truck driver was shot to death by a police officer who tried to take him to the police station for a "contravention" during a 20-kilometer chase along a route in San Juan. The agent was arrested for the homicide, who fired at least 16 shots at the vehicle, in a case that is already being investigated as trigger-happy.
The episode occurred on Friday night, around 11 p.m., on provincial route 510, about 20 kilometers south of the town of San Agustín del Valle Fértil.
