Chicago confirms two cases of measles after a resident and a migrant child are diagnosed. These are the first cases reported in the city since 2019.

Authorities are asking migrants to remain at the shelter until they can determine who is vaccinated. Those who are not immunized will be offered an injection, they added. The city urged people who were at the Swedish Hospital facility on February 27 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., to call the department to determine next steps.
