Sebastián Piñera died on Tuesday, when his aircraft fell into a lake. This Friday he will be buried in the Memorial Park after an official ceremony.
President Gabriel Boric decreed a three-day national mourning and the holding of a state funeral. Since Wednesday afternoon, thousands of people have arrived, waiting several hours to see the former president and deliver their condolences to his family. The funeral procession will tour the center of Santiago towards La Moneda, where a tribute to the former President will be held.
