Astrology alludes to many myths to explain the language of the cosmos and the stars. Chiron received the name in honor of the wise centaur, son of the titan Cronus with the nymph Philira.

In a birth chart, the position of Chiron by sign, by house and by aspect indicates to us where we will experience that wound. If the centaur is in House I or in the sign of Aries, the wound is likely to be a lack of self-confidence or a determined willingness to take risks.
