Paola Cortellesi's directorial debut C'e' Ancora Domani (There's Still Tomorrow) leads the runners for this year's David di Donatello awards. Matteo Garrone's migrant drama Io Capitano, which was nominated for best international film at the 2024 Academy Awards, came second with 15 David nominations.
Alice Rohrwacher's La Chimera got 13 nominations, MarcoBellocchio's Rapito 11 and Edoardo De Angelis's Comandante 10.
