Flowers are the great passion of the active 95-year-old Len i Dahmen is still active and largely gets by without help. Since her husband Johann died 14 years ago, she has mastered her life alone. The municipality of Bergkirchen recognized her commitment with the Citizen's Medal in Silver, which was awarded by former mayor Simon Landmann in 1998.
