Cold is returning: weather forecasts predict March winter in Baden-Württemberg. February 2024 currently has an average temperature of 7.1 degrees and could soon set a new record.
Temperatures in March are expected to be average. Compared to February, however, the weather could feel more wintry, explains meteorologist Dominik Jung. The reason why the cold could return to Germany in March is the polar vortex. On Tuesday and Wednesday (February 20th and 21st) daily highs are 12 degrees and on Thursday (February 22nd and 23rd) they will reach 12 degrees.
