Rabbi Dov Landau met with ultra-Orthodox capitalists from the US and asked them to donate to ultra-orthodox institutions whose budgets will be frozen. "We need the mercy of heaven and the strength of our brothers, the Israelites in America, we can overcome anything," he said.
The Supreme Court issued an interim order prohibiting the government from transferring funds for the purpose of supporting institutions whose students did not show up for conscription. The petitions against the court's decision will be scheduled for hearing during the month of May, and will be heard before a panel of nine judges.
