Collective agreement reached in collective bargaining for non-medical employees at the Giessen and Marburg University Hospitals. Management and the Verdi union agreed on a “significant salary increase” in a mix of an inflation compensation bonus and a table increase in two stages plus bonuses and a job ticket.
The collective agreement runs until December 31, 2025. Before the talks, the union had insisted on an improved offer for the approximately 7,000 employees and had otherwise brought a longer strike into play.
