In the third round, the state of Hesse and the unions agreed on a collective agreement for public sector employees. It includes a one-time tax-free inflation compensation of 3,000 euros, which is to be paid out in three tranches this year.
There will be an additional 200 euros per month in salary from February 2025, as well as 5.5 percent more salary from August 2025. Other agreements include a higher allowance for specialists such as doctors and in the area of scientific and artistic employees, for whom there should be more permanent contracts.
