The Colombian government and the former number two of the ex-FARC guerrilla Ivan Marquez, who took up arms again after signing peace in 2016, will begin new peace talks. The eleven-point text signed by the two parties announces the start of a “process of socio-political dialogues leading to the signing of a peace agreement’.
