Large fire broke out at the Uralmash factory in the city of Yekaterinburg in Siberia. 52 people and 17 vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire.
The cause of the fire is still unclear. The plant produces equipment for energy plants, including nuclear power plants. In times of war, however, it could also be converted into the production of military products. There have been a number of fires in Russia since Russia's Ukraine War. It wasn't until March 2024 that an oil refinery burned out southeast of Moscow.
