A German car magazine compares three premium SUVs, with a surprising outcome: It's not Mercedes or Audi that prevail - Kia is ahead. With the seats folded down, the seven-seater Kia EV9 offers a maximum of 2318 liters.

The electric Audi Q8 leads the field in terms of power with 300 kW (408 hp), followed by the Kia with 283 kW (385 hp) and the Mercedes with 265 kW (360 hp) The Mercedes EQS SUV consumed the least electricity in the test (26.4 kWh per 100 km) while the Audi needed over 30 kWh. Meanwhile, the test praised the braking behavior of all vehicles, even though they all weigh over 2.5 tons. It is noteworthy that Audi does not win a single category in the overall ranking, the Ingolstadt-based company comes in last place with the Q8 55 e-tron Quattro. The Kia SUV is available for thousands of euros less.
